With the final installment of the Film Misery Awards I have to embarrass myself by point out how few animated, foreign, and documentary films I saw this last year. I sincerely hope to change that this year, especially as more opportunities to see smaller documentary and foreign films arise through platforms like iTunes. However, for now I have to base the awards on the films that I have seen. Take a look below and, as always, be sure to share your picks in the comments!

Merely by including Herzog and Morris in your list of Feature Doc nominees, you’ve already one-upped the Academy with whatever joke of a list they come up with (‘Cave’ and ‘Tabloid’ failed to make the cut, as did my 2 personal favorite docs ‘The Interrupters’ and ‘Into the Abyss’)
I recommend you check out Winnie the Pooh. I think that one might actually be my favorite Animated film of the year!
