Frozen - Best Original Song Oscar Predictions 2014

Frozen is not only an original animated musical, but it’s also a good original animated musical, which means it certainly has a shot at securing multiple nominations; especially in a year where there weren’t really any other musicals put to the screen. Previous Disney musicals like Enchanted and The Princess and the Frog have accomplished this feat. For other potential nominees I always look to animated films, which tend to do very well here. Also, Baz Luhrmann films rely on music, so they are usually a pretty safe bet if there are any songs eligible.  – Alex Carlson
