12 Years a Slave - Best Picture Oscar Predictions 2014

Most of the films that will be in consideration for the 2014 Oscar race have been seen by at least a small group of press by now and things are beginning to come into focus. The glaring omission at the moment is The Wolf of Wall Street, which could be a huge player or play only a small part  (I highly doubt that it will be ignored by the Academy). However, things are now known about films like American Hustle and Out of the Furnace, which weren’t at the last update and smaller films that had already been released are beginning to get more attention. The most notable increases this week come from Nebraska and Dallas Buyers Club while the drops come for American Hustle and All is Lost— Alex Carlson
