Gravity - Best Sound Mixing Oscar Predictions 2014

The Sound Mixing and Sound Editing categories have been nominating many of the same films in recent years to the point where I wonder if the Board of Governors is considering combining them into one category. Traditionally this is the place where a musical or animated film could sneak in and since Frozen is both, it seems like it has a good shot. However, I think the Sound Editing frontrunners are still the ones to beat here. – Alex Carlson
