Boston Society of Film Critics Loves ‘The Hurt Locker’


What others have been calling the “real” precursors begin this week with the announcements from the L.A. Critics, N.Y. Critics, and the Golden Globe nominations. First through the gate, however, are the awards from the Boston Society of Film Critics, which were announced today.

The Hurt Locker, Kathryn Bigelow’s intense war drama, stole some momentum from Up in the Air by nearly sweeping the BSFC Awards and leaving no top prizes for Jason Reitman’s film. View the full list of awards after the jump including the updated precursor charts.
