The daily trivia contest at Film Misery is back! For those of you who are unfamiliar, one of the usual features at Film Misery is the Daily Trivia Contest (which can be found under the “Interactive” tab above). Every day, Monday through Saturday, I will post a question or a clue and your job will be to name the movie and submit by filling out the form. Each correct answer is worth a point on the scoreboard. At the end of the month, whoever has the most points wins the prize. Tiebreakers are decided by who submits first on the last day of the contest.
This month’s theme is Blockbusters! With summer movie season around the corner, I thought it was high time to take a look at the big Box Office winners of the past. Each day I will post three clues to a major blockbuster of year’s past. Use the clues to name the movie.
This month’s prize – a film that is sort of a blockbuster in its own right – a DVD copy of Se7en directed by David Fincher. Here is the synopsis from IMDb:
This thriller portrays the exploits of a deranged serial-killer. His twisted agenda involves choosing seven victims who represent egregious examples of transgressions of each of the Seven Deadly Sins. He then views himself as akin to the Sword of God, handing out horrific punishment to these sinners. Two cops, an experienced veteran of the streets who is about to retire and the ambitious young homicide detective hired to replace him, team up to capture the perpetrator of these gruesome killings. Unfortunately, they too become ensnared in his diabolical plan…
