Detroit Film Critics Society Picks ‘Shame’ and ‘The Artist’ for 2011 Awards

View the Updated Precursor Charts

Another group has chimed in with Awards that look relatively similar to every other critics groups’ awards this year. The Artist, Michael Fassbender, Michelle Williams, and Christopher Plummer each earn their umpteenth victory and Jessica Chastain has once again received a Breakthrough Performer award (well-deserved, but stale nonetheless). The one deviation is Carey Mulligan for Shame in the ever more confusing Best Supporting Actress category.
