What are your final predictions for the 84th Academy Awards?

  • Raphael

Why is no one rooting for Michelle Williams? I would love to see her take the Oscar. She has consistently done amazing work.

  • Genadijus

Think about split of votes between V. Davis and M. Streep, then Michelle Williams wins. We have a lot of examples in the past…

  • In the last 30 years, I have only twice agreed with the Academy on what was the best movie of the year; including foreign films, animated films, and documentaries they fail to nominate. (Technically 3 because LOTR: Return of the King was the best movie of 2003 but I always look at those like a trilogy and the best movie of a decade, not a certain year). However, if The Artist pulls through, we will agree once again on what the true best picture of the year was.

  • I wish Moneyball wins something :(
