I sincerely apologize for the lack of activity over the past several days. The Speech Team that I coach has our State Sections tournament this coming Friday and so this week my amount of free time has been miniscule. However, I have completed the preparations for the first episode of the Film Misery podcast, which will be recorded this Sunday and should be live on Film Misery by Sunday night and live on iTunes by Monday. Myself and Phil Kollar will be musing on recent films and sharing some insights in audio form. Here is the format for the first show:
Part One: Review of Arthur starring Russell Brand and Helen Mirren. Our first review will be of this comedic remake.
Part Two: Discussion on what makes a good movie. To give listeners an idea of our cinematic tastes and our approach to film criticism we will be discussing what, in our minds, constitutes a good film.
Part Three: Top 5 films of the 21st Century. Phil and I will be revealing our top 5 films released between 2000 and 2010.
The show will hopefully run an hour in length. Here’s hoping for no technical glitches!
