Cabin in the Woods was a movie I wrote-off at the start of the year, but then regained my attention after critics began comparing it to Scream. Unfortunately, I don’t see that as an honest comparison. I don’t picture myself ever seeing it again, but I would possibly appreciate it more with the understanding that it is a comedy film, unlike Scream which is a horror movie with comedic motifs. 2 out of 4 stars.

    • I agree completely with that comparison of ‘Cabin’ and ‘Scream.’ I was concerned that the surprises would diminish my second viewing, but there is enough going on that I wasn’t the least bit bored.
