Full Trailer for David Cronenberg’s ‘Cosmopolis’ Just in Time for Cannes Announcement

Shortly after being announced as a Competition entry at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis received a full trailer. The film stars Robert Pattinson as a young billionaire in a limousine on a journey across Manhattan to get a haircut. It is based on the novel by Dom DeLillo and features elements of science fiction and fantasy. Along with Pattinson, it stars Juliette Binoche, Paul Giamatti, Jay Baruchel, Mathieu Almaric, Samantha Morton, and Kevin Durand.

The trailer, which premiered at the film’s official website, looks magnificent with a messy vision from David Cronenberg that looks like a delightful dystopia. The camera angles are sharp and the sex appears to be bountiful in a film that seems like a return to Cronenberg’s form from the 1980s and 90s.

Take a look at the full trailer below and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments!

Cosmopolis has a TBA U.S. release date. It will play at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
