The two biggest award-getters this year continue to be The Social Network and Winter’s Bone with the former almost sweeping all critical awards this season. A film that was initially considered a major frontrunner, but as precursor season continues is seeming less and less so is Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours. That film did get a minor boost, however, from these two groups with Detroit giving Boyle their Best Actor award and Las Vegas giving Franco the Best Actor prize.
