New York Film Critics Circle Awards 2010

Yawn. I wasn’t expecting the precursor race to get this boring this fast. For the second year in a row the New York and Los Angeles Film Critics have agreed with each other (and everyone else) on a film for the best of the year and The Social Network dominance continues. The real winner is The Kids Are All Right which takes the Screenplay, Actress, and Supporting Actor awards. That particular film had been previously ignored during most of the precursor season, but this victor launches it back into the Oscar conversation. It is also likely to receive quite a few nominations from the Golden Globes tomorrow.
