  • I’m pretty excited for the potential of MoviePass, though $50 per month seems a bit steep. If you see more than 5 movies a month at non-matinee prices, this is worth it. How many people do that? I see (generally) more than 5 movies a month but I do everything in my power to make sure I’m paying matinee prices. And the question of how many theaters it is going to support is there as well – right now in San Francisco AMC seems to be a supporter along with local chains, but how well is this support going to translate in other markets?

I’ll keep an eye on it as it develops. May be worth it, may be not.

  • I’d feel like “Obsessed with Film” is imitating me if my site wasn’t so small scale, but I posted a list like that last Friday. I only had ten slots, and I misspelled Dory’s name, but my list is right here: http://highoncelluloid.blogspot.com/2011/06/top-ten-best-pixar-characters.html

  • Jose

Is anyone else not surprised at the bad reviews that Larry Crowne got?

  • Asif Khan

i knew it will get bad reviews but not this much !!!!!

  • I really like Julia Roberts, but it seems like every movie she’s in now is always rotten.
