  • Terry Gilliam officially announced the Robert Duvall will be playing Don Quixote in his project The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, which is finally getting made. [Screen Rant]

Review of the Day:

  • Not a whole lot has been said about The Princess and the Frog, but word so far has been generally positive. JimmyO gives the film a 9/10. [JoBlo]

  • Not exactly Oscar related, but the list of 69 foreign films eligible for the Golden Globes has been released. [Screen Daily]

Picture of the Day:

  • (Above) Pee Wee Herman has returned. Paul Reubens is starting with a stage act and may be working towards another Pee Wee Herman movie. [CNN]

Trailer of the Day:

  • Michael Cera’s multiple personality movie, Youth in Revolt, got a much more impressive red-band trailer today. This looks like it is going to be excellent. Check it out after the jump. [Funny or Die]

  • Corliss has to be kidding me. There’s no way “The Princess and the Frog” is better than “Up”. Of course it hasn’t been released yet, so who knows?

  • Fair point. But “Up” was so good! Early reviews for “The Princess and the Frog” have been fairly positive so far. We shall see.
