  • Anne Thompson rounds up some early reviews for Sherlock Holmes. It’s not nearly as positive as Avatar, but the word seems to be surprisingly positive. [Thompson on Hollywood]

Oscar News of the Day:

  • If When Meryl Streep gets an Oscar nomination this year it will be her 15th. Today she was nominated for her 24th AND 25th Golden Globe awards. [The Gold Derby]
