Six Character Posters for the Evil Exes of ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World’

Six character posters that display the seven evil exes that will be featured in the upcoming Scott Pilgrim vs. The World have been posted online at Jo Blo. The posters don’t give out any specific information about the individual characters besides their appearance and their name. They also reveal the order in which the seven battles will take place in the movie. The posters also don’t list the actors who play each villain, so if you are wondering they are: #1 Matthew Pattel (Satya Bhabha), #2 Lucas Lee (Chris Evans), #3 Todd Ingram (Brandon Routh), #4 Roxy Richter (Mae Whitman), #5 & #6 Kyle and Ken Katayanagi, and #7 Gideon Graves (Jason Schwartzman).

I’m a big fan of character posters and there may not be a film where the use of character posters is more appropriate than Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I have high hopes for the prospects of this movie and hope that it will breathe some much needed life into the dull summer release season. Check out the posters below!

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World will be in theatres in the U.S. on August 13, 2010.

  • This movie is either going to be pretty great or else pretty horrible. I don’t think there’s a middle ground.

P.S. “Crazy Heart”: way, way better than a C+. Excellent film. Oddly enough, Jeff Bridges (excellent though he was) wasn’t the best part of the movie. That would be Maggie Gyllenhaal. She was so good (as were Duvall and Farrell).

  • I thought it lacked a lot of the necessary subtlety that a film like ‘The Wrestler’ portrayed so well.

  • Oh, it’s nowhere near the quality of “The Wrestler”. But I still thought it was really good (the music alone made it worthwhile), and better than “District 9” (you want to talk about a lack of subtlety, there’s your movie). And the performances: just incredible, as I’ve said.
